Instructions for extended abstract submission
GENERAL INFORMATION
- The scientific committee will review all submissions and authors will be notified of the committee’s decision.
- Authors may state their preference for an oral or poster presentation but the final decision will lie with the scientific committee.
- Late abstracts and abstracts not conforming to the submission guidelines will not be considered.
- Each participant is only allowed to present one oral or poster presentation but may co-author multiple abstracts.
- The presenting author must be the first named author and have registered for the conference by the registration deadline.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
Abstract
- Do not exceed 350 words
- Use the following layout:
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Do not include tables, figures or references
- Provide title, authors, and respective affiliations
GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTATIONS
Oral communication
- Oral presentations will be delivered using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- The oral presentation will last for 10 minutes with 5 minutes allowed for discussion.
Poster presentation
- Poster presentations printed on A0 paper size (1189 mm height and 841 mm width) and presented in the portrait format.
- Posters will be displayed at the beginning of the presenters allocated session.
- The poster presentation will last for 2 minutes followed a 1-minute discussion.
